About Us

I'm not here to lie to you, Imperium is a decent guild, sure we're not top 100 and we won't be unless we changed realm in all honesty! Currently with no competition on Nagrand we're left up to our own devices, which has its advantages and disadvantages.

We're currently Ranked #1 on the realm and pretty much have been since the guild creation whilst we were actively raiding, other than that we're a fun loving guild and not in the cookies and hugs types, we're here to have some fun whilst raiding, talk some shit and generally enjoy the game as much as you can whilst getting some nice epics.

We endeavour to not let anyone feel out, as you can see from our roster we're a pretty multi national guild, if your English ain't the best then we'd encourage you to get your ass on our Mumble server and just give it a bash, we're not stuck up enough to laugh.

I guess that's a good enough intro, onto current status.

Current Status

We're currently raiding from 20:00 server time until 24:00, and the raid days are Weds, Thurs, Sunday, Monday. We used to raid Tuesdays as well but had to drop this due to a lack of content in WoTLK, but this may be returning so please keep this in mind when applying.

Currently ranked #1 on the realm and not having to skip raids due to people missing, as for goals we're trying to get all our WoWProgress ranks in the blues, It's nothing major but it's achievable with a solid group of members naturally if such a goal was met, then the bar would be raised when going into the next tier of content. Since T8 where our avg ranked kill was ~800 in the World, we're now pushing top 350 and aiming for higher.

As for how the guild is run we currently have a set of two "Co-GM"s in Esm and Fentality, there are also a few officers who help out with all aspects of guild management in Thallium and Tatsumaki. Between myself (Fen) and Esm we have nearly a decade of experience in leading the top guilds (#1 Alliance and #1 Horde) on Nagrand.

Loot is dealt with by a loot council, the officers have a quite broad knowledge of class mechanics, there's been little to no complaints since the switch to the system at the start of Cata, so for the foreseeable future we'll be sticking with it.

Our trialing system is pretty straight forward, you have 2-4 weeks to impress. If you don't then you're out, simple as that so before applying please think about any immediate future events upcoming.

Origins

It was a dark and cold night, the weather was raging outside beating down on Pink's little house, shaking the doors and pelting the windows. Pink the little gnome fled the house and began his journey to Ironforge it was here where Imperium was crafted, the date 16th January 2007.

It was from here on Nagrand that Imperium started to begin their meteroic rise quickly hitting 70 and getting into Karazhan, leadership may of changed a few times during TBC the eventual leader then became Esm.

Imperium as a guild took all server firsts after Nightbane in Karazhan all the way Brutallus in Sunwell, just to put the progression into perspective, Imperium downed Illidan the night that the server second guild downed Kael'Thas.

In Sunwell, the raiding had taken it's toll, people migrated and quit due to the wonderful summer time and the yearly exams. It was here that Imperium called it a day for that expansion and went inactive, the outlook looking rather bleak.

Roll on WoTLK. It was here that the Imperium was resurrected with Essem at the helm once again, a slightly different looking guild to what it was in Sunwell but the important thing was it was functional and worked, Imperium members ended up taking all the realm first Alliance race level 80s and into Naxxramas we went before we could blink the place was cleared and we were rewarded with nice titles.

The theme of taking 95% of server firsts continued through the expansion all the way through the expansion collecting every server title there was to obtain, of course with such progress there were quite a few jealous parties and lots of flaming, trolling and many lols on forums and in game a like.

The guild had taken a few knocks during WoTLK, and in the eyes of the officers it wasn't as successful as it could of been but we did have our moments (BG First kills) .

Cataclysm, the guild wasn't a new venture and we had retained a core of players, Imperium again picking up quite a few of the server first 85 achievements.

And the rest of the story is a Work In Progress x
